Panelized Construction
The detailed advanced planning and coordination as well as attention to strict quality control enables our panelized construction services to be done in a timely, cost effective manner.
W. A. RANDOLPH, INC has been building multi-story structures between 2 and 11 stories tall using panelized construction for more than two decades.
Panelized construction uses either Wood or Cold Formed Steel wall panels built in factories and then shipped and erected on site. Panels built in factories are built in a controlled environment and they are constructed to tighter tolerances using repetitive manufacturing practices.
This process requires preconstruction coordination between the designers and the contractor to insure the structural, architectural and MEP elements are all taken into consideration before fabrication of the panels commences. Properly designed and coordinated buildings using panelized construction reduces the overall construction time and is more cost effective than other traditional construction methods.
W. A. RANDOLPH, INC continues to develop and enhance the prefabrication and panelization process by adding elements at the factory such as rigid insulation, structural systems for façade attachment, waterproofing and window receiver frames to increase the benefits to the project cost and schedule.
